One set of words
Every document carries a fingerprint of its exact wording. Change a word and it becomes a new version that has to be confirmed again, so a note is never altered after the fact without a trace.
Balboa Bunkers supplies marine fuel to vessels calling at the Pacific end of the Canal. The order, the bunker delivery note, the sealed sample and the invoice are kept as one set of papers that the vessel and our own desks can all check.
Sample data. The portal shows the same four papers.
Every document carries a fingerprint of its exact wording. Change a word and it becomes a new version that has to be confirmed again, so a note is never altered after the fact without a trace.
Each profile sees only the documents meant for it. Every attempt to open anything else is written to the record, whether it worked or not.
The seals, the witness and the two sets of samples are recorded with the delivery itself, so a later dispute starts from one record.
It cannot be released until the delivery note is confirmed. A changed bank detail is a new version that the vessel has to confirm, not an edit nobody saw.
The site sets no cookies of its own, runs no analytics and loads no third-party script. The forms stay in your browser and send nothing. The one outside request is the typefaces, from Google Fonts.
Every page is served with a strict content policy and the standard security headers. The details are on the data and security page.
Open the sample portal, pick a profile and follow one delivery from order to invoice. Paste in the copy of a note you were sent and the portal tells you whether it is the version on file, an older one, or text that changed on the way.
